Ways in
You don't need the right words or a tidy explanation. Pick the door that sounds closest and we'll sort out the rest together.
A neutral, unhurried hour for anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, self-worth and life that has shifted under you. We build the plan around you, not around a protocol.
For the conversations that keep looping back to the same place. We slow them down, make room for both sides, and work on how you talk when it's hard.
An eye-movement therapy that resolves trauma, phobias and PTSD in a handful of sessions — without you having to narrate what happened.
What we help with
People come to us in crisis and people come to us because something has just felt slightly off for a while. Both are good reasons.
How we practice
Our mission is to promote the health and wellness of individuals and couples through a range of treatment approaches — and to keep this a genuinely safe place to land.
Your history is yours. We meet you where you're at, at the pace you set, without judgement about how you got here.
Open, honest and ethical — including when the honest answer is that we're not the right fit and someone else would serve you better.
No two people get the same worksheet. We draw on CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, mindfulness and play therapy, and adapt as we learn you.
Healing rarely runs in a straight line. Self-compassion isn't a soft extra here — it's part of the actual work.
Our team
A small practice on purpose. You'll know who you're seeing before you walk in.
Founder & clinical director
Twelve years in practice, MSW from Arizona State. Works with anxiety, self-esteem and depression using CBT, DBT, EMDR and ACT — and is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
Licensed associate counselor
Trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, working with the whole person — mind, body and soul. Offers affirming therapy for neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, ethically non-monogamous and sex-positive clients.
Licensed associate counselor
Bio to be supplied by the practice — this slot is sized for roughly 40 words so it sits level with the others.
Office assistant
The first voice you'll hear. Charissa handles scheduling, insurance questions, paperwork and anything else standing between you and a first appointment.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
ART uses gentle back-and-forth eye movements to help your brain resolve what it's still holding — depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD. You stay in control the entire session, and most people are done in one to five visits.
Self-pay only. Insurance carriers don't currently cover ART, so we keep the pricing plain and the course short.
Fees & insurance
No surprise billing and no quote-on-request. If cost is the thing standing in the way, say so — a sliding scale exists for exactly that.

In network with
Out of network? We'll provide a superbill you can submit for reimbursement. Self-pay is always welcome.
We take major credit and debit cards plus HSA and FSA accounts through the secure client portal.
Before you call
The first appointment is 60 minutes and it's mostly you talking and us listening. There's no test and nothing you have to prepare. By the end we'll have a rough sense of what you want to be different, and you decide whether to book a second one.
We're in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Compsych, Evernorth, Health Advocate, Lyra, Open Path, Optum and UnitedHealthcare. If yours isn't listed, call us — we'll check your out-of-network benefits with you and can provide a superbill.
Yes. Sessions are available by secure video for anyone located in Arizona, and you can mix in-person and online visits as your schedule needs.
We work with clients aged 10 and up, as well as couples and families.
Request an appointment online or call (480) 680-1240. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and additional appointment times outside those hours can be arranged.
Give us 24 hours and there's no charge. Cancellations inside 24 hours and missed appointments are billed at $50.
Take the first one
Booking takes about two minutes and doesn't commit you to anything. If you'd rather talk to a person first, call — that's completely fine too.
